Also, be careful when you say things like this - 'Ebert believes that this is a great quote as it explains a lot'. When Ebert wrote this, he wasn't writing it as a quote, it was his evaluation of the film... you also don't know what he actually thought about what he had written - he might have thought it was a lot of rubbish :) Is it you that thinks it is a useful quote? If so, you can say something like, 'As Ebert explains perfectly in his evaluation of Bates' character, 'Norman Bates no longer exists...'
